Benefits of Traditional Yoga
At Beyond home, traditional yoga delivered by Marika Daskalaki is a combination of the traditional Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga systems. Marika Daskalaki, based on the traditional teachings of yoga, composes each lesson according to the people she has around her.
Traditional yoga tries to distinguish people’s needs, the mood of each day and the level of understanding and assimilation of each student. Thus, each lesson is unique and student-based.
Lessons of Traditional Yoga
The distinction between gentle (level1) and dynamic (level2) flow is about how fast the course is, how fast or slow it is, and how fast each lesson progresses.
In mild lessons, the flow is slow and steady, the basics are clearly laid out for everything in the lesson, and every newcomer to yoga has the opportunity to become familiar with any stress-free technique. Also, people with musculoskeletal problems or pregnant women can benefit at all levels from mild flow lessons in traditional yoga. Finally, experienced students who want to deepen their practice and relax their pace are always welcomed in the mild flow.
In dynamic lessons, things evolve faster, the topics we approach are deeper and the asanas become more demanding. Students who need movement potential, who have understood the basics of yoga and are ready to go one step further, they are the audience of the dynamic flow in traditional yoga.
The therapeutic approach includes therapeutic postures, which do not burden joints and are static. The course is ideal for beginners, for practitioners with musculoskeletal problems and for pregnant women.
