Movement Engineering is a course combining elements of martial arts, yoga, kinesiology, dance, breathwork, soft acrobatics and more. It is aimed at people of all ages who work out, play sports, or engage in some physical activity.
Most people see physical activity as a final goal, something to learn. So, it is usually combined with an activity that promotes good health, calmness, a more beautifully shaped body or it is a means of relief.
In Movement Engineering we see the individual as a whole and the activity as a means of improving both mobility, power, coordination and as a means of ‘knowing one’s self’ instead of an end in itself. By focusing on a variety of different approaches, rather than one type of exercise or methodology, everyone begins to learn more about himself, his preferences and the “pitfalls” that delay his development. The fun, the relief, the clear mind and the beautiful body, are a pleasant and inevitable result of the above.
If you feel that you are doing an exercise, practice, or activity, and you want to do something else or feel that something is missing, maybe it’s time to approach it differently. Movement Engineering is a course combining elements of martial arts, yoga, dance, breathwork, kinesiology, locomotion and more.
